AVENGERS 4 Leaked Promo Art Reveals New Costumes For Earth's Remaining Mightiest Heroes

Some toy packaging for Avengers 4 has revealed even more new costume for Earth's Mightiest Heroes and it appears as if they'll be donning some armour in order to do battle with Thanos in the sequel...

We already know that many of the characters in Avengers 4 will be getting new costumes but some toy packaging which is doing the rounds today has revealed that some of them will also be donning armour. As you can see, Thor and Rocket are decked out in these "space suits" and Captain America will clearly be getting one too (Captain Marvel, however, will not presumably because she's so powerful).

The question is, why do they need these? It's possible that they're for outer space travel but Thor is fine in that setting so it's probably far more likely that they'll be using them to travel into the Quantum Realm. Whether or not that's going to lead to time-travel is hard to say but it's quickly becoming apparent that there's going to be a whole lot more to the Infinity War sequel than we thought.

As you can see below, these costumes bear something of a resemblance to the ones The Avengers wore during Infinity, and no, the toy packaging doesn't reveal the title; Marvel Studios isn't that daft! Going back to that Quantum Realm theory for a second, you'll notice that these white uniforms resemble the one Hank Pym used when he travelled there to find Janet Van Dyn. Interesting, right?

@MikeNolan - Also the "A" logo on Thor's suit is dope. They did say the Avengers would be the most team-y version we have ever seen them as, which I f***ing love

These look great! I didn't think they'd go this route.

@mcu93 - i still dont. This is just from a toy remember. Its possible these are just space themed versions.

@Origame - Do these toys usually have pictures of actors in the costumes when they're just marketing gimmicks though?
Origame
Origame - 10/12/2018, 1:51 AM
@JamesPunn - they arent pictures. Theyre drawings.
JamesPunn
JamesPunn - 10/12/2018, 2:36 PM
@Origame - Still pictures. My point is, they have plenty of ridiculous Spider-Man action figures, some where he's riding an ATV, but I don't recall every seeing an actual picture of a big screen Spider-Man riding said ATV or in one of those costumes.
Origame
Origame - 10/12/2018, 5:51 PM
@JamesPunn - but when its drawn, that means there doesnt have to be any reality to it at all.
JamesPunn
JamesPunn - 10/12/2018, 8:22 PM
@Origame - But I believe it's pretty uncommon to draw it on the actual actor with it not being in the movie.
Origame
Origame - 10/13/2018, 2:56 AM
@JamesPunn - it isnt drawn on the actor though. Its a drawing of the actor.
JamesPunn
JamesPunn - 10/13/2018, 6:39 PM
@Origame - I'm aware, but like I said, I never remember seeing detailed drawings of Tobey Maguire on an ATV.
Origame
Origame - 10/13/2018, 8:34 PM
@JamesPunn - its not all that detailed even.
JamesPunn
JamesPunn - 10/14/2018, 11:03 AM
@Origame - It's detailed enough that it looks like the actor.
Origame
Origame - 10/14/2018, 2:17 PM
@JamesPunn - ...yeah. to match the toy that also looks like the actor.
JamesPunn
JamesPunn - 10/14/2018, 9:08 PM
@Origame - I'm aware. I was just refuting your point.
Origame
Origame - 10/15/2018, 5:09 AM
@JamesPunn - but they need the drawing to look like the toy that theyre selling. Do you honestly think itd work if the face was for some generic looking guy when the toy has chris hemsworth's face?
JamesPunn
JamesPunn - 10/15/2018, 1:46 PM
@Origame - So find me any instance of a toy portraying the movie actor in a suit that they don't wear, with detailed art depicting the actor in that suit.
Origame
Origame - 10/15/2018, 3:48 PM
@JamesPunn - why do you think marvel is ok with showing this? Especially when they were so careful that we ended up with blurry concept art to theorize (also remembering none of that adds up with what we're seeing here) and yet its a toy they dont think of? This is the mandarin lego set all over again.
JamesPunn
JamesPunn - 10/15/2018, 6:42 PM
@Origame - It's a leak, so there's nothing they can really do about it once it's out there. Some companies have to be sent character art and concepts early so they can manufacture the toys, and one of those people must have taken a picture.

Hope we get some zero-gravity fights! ANd before everybody starts trippin about Thor wearing a space suit. Just because he didn't die at the beginning of IW while floating in space doesn't mean it doesn't affect him. This way he can do his thing and not worry about the elements of space.
Origame
Origame - 10/11/2018, 5:56 AM
@BobbyBraceface8 - he was in space for a while though. If it does effect him, that effect is pretty negligible. Unless theres more function here than just survivability.
BobbyBraceface8
BobbyBraceface8 - 10/11/2018, 6:02 AM
@Origame - yeah who knows. MAybe it is for the quantum realm. I just wish he wore his helmet once is battle just to have it fall off but I know for sure it'll never happen now...

ftf530 - 10/11/2018, 6:52 AM
@Origame - they also said that where they were was a weird part of space, so like the outerlimits of knowhere, it's possible that there's some form of air / that it's not necessarily a vacuum
