AVENGERS 4 Was Reportedly Titled AVENGERS: INFINITY GAUNTLET Before That Leaked Online

One of the biggest questions pretty much everyone has right now is this: what will Avengers 4 be titled? Chances are we'll get an answer to that before the year is over but when and where Marvel Studios will reveal this key piece of intel remains to be seen. There are a lot of theories out there and if a new report is to be believed, it appears we may have heard the sequel's original title last May!

As you'll no doubt recall, Zoe Saldana referred to the movie as Avengers: Infinity Gauntlet during the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 press tour and while those involved with the movie have denied it was ever going to be called that, MCU Cosmic claims that was indeed what the epic ensemble was being referred to during production. When you think about it, it's a title which makes a lot of sense too.

After all, while the Infinity Gauntlet may have been destroyed at the end of Infinity War, it's bound to factor heavily into the sequel and "Gauntlet" could also refer to what Earth's Mightiest Heroes will have to go through in order to put an end to the Mad Titan. Regardless, Marvel Studios may have initially called Avengers 4 Avengers: Infinity Gauntlet but that's no longer the case so time will tell now!
