Back in October of last year, we found out that that 22-year-old actress Katherine Langford (13 Reasons Why; Love, Simon) was a very late casting addition to Avengers: Endgame, and since then fans have been speculating about which character she might be playing.

There were theories that she might be Kate Bishop or maybe even an older version of Cassie Lang from the future, but then a rumor did the rounds that she'd actually be playing the daughter of Tony Stark and Pepper Potts.

Now, Lanford has shared an Instagram post that many are taking as a sign that the latter is true.

Though there's no indication that this is a photo from the Endgame set, the fact that reshoots are now underway and Katherine has dyed her hair red (Pepper's locks got blonder over the years but the character is a natural redhead) has understandably led many to jump to that conclusion.

What do you guys think? Is this a fair assumption, or a bit of a stretch? Drop us a comment down below.

on eps 5 of punisher and this is a damn shame it will no longer be on netflix :(

john really understands the character .... you realize frank isn't normal unless he's in life or death scenario's, and he struggles to be a civilian.

@knocturnalzen10 - no spoilers but the best part about the punisher is they don't really leave any loose ends open, at least none I can remember.

100% Tony and Pepper's daughter. Shit's gonna get real heavy man. I could see Tony going through time and getting to see his alternate timeline family/life and a whole lot of other hearstrings images before having to give it all up and sacrifice himself for the fate of the universe.

@SpideyPuffsMJ - And/Or... she's playing Kang the Conqueror. (Everybody is Kang the Conqueror.)

@ShaggyCipher - The Council of Ricks has nothing on the Confusing Loose Confederation of Possible Kangs™.

If Kang shows up, just pretend you're a Kang from even further in the future, and he can't prove you're wrong. Also, odds are you actually are a future Kang, because statistically most people are.

Too easy to predict she being Tony and Pepper's daughter IMO.

@NinnesMBC - yeah. Maybe since there's obviously time travel, instead of looking into the future, why not the past? This could also be a young black widow.

@Origame - She does look like ScarJo, young Black Widow and Clint Barton scene perhaps?

@Timerider84 - thatd be cool.

@Origame - I'm thinking they'd just use some de-aging technology with Scarlett if they needed a young BW scene.

But we shall see.

@Tonic24k - thats for removing wrinkles. Not making an adult look like a teenager.

@Tonic24k - thats for removing wrinkles. Not making an adult look like a teenager. Also not if the two versions are sharing a scene.

@Tonic24k - i mean, they took facial hair off. But that isnt even high school tony. Hes in college at least.

@Origame - Katherine Langford is 22 years old; roughly the same age they made Tony here. So there's no logic to recast. Also, they already de-aged Scarlet Johansson for her flashback scene.

@Tonic24k - shes also about the same age as tom holland and much of the cast for spiderman who portray teenagers. And where did they de age her?
