Avengers: Endgame shifted the focus to the original six members of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, but that meant not every character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was given the chance to shine.
Black Panther had a small, but memorable role in the Marvel epic, though, as he got his hands on Iron Man's Nano Gauntlet and went on the run with it while fending off attacks from Thanos and his army. Now, a new 1/10 scale Iron Studios statue shows T'Challa striking a pose on the battlefield with the Gauntlet in hand.
It's an awesome statue that gives us a much closer look at the suit the hero wore in the movie. We also get to see the charred remains of the Gauntlet after The Hulk used it to bring back the trillions of people the Mad Titan killed when he snapped his fingers in
Avengers: Infinity War.

Black Panther doesn't get a huge amount to do in
Avengers: Endgame, but he was given chance to shine in
Infinity War when he opened Wakanda's gates and led the final stand against Thanos.
Despite making what was essentially just a cameo appearance in the movie, the Russo Brothers still gave T'Challa an important role to play throughout the course of the movie's final battle.
With the Infinity Gauntlet in his hands, the hero made his way across the battlefield and didn't hesitate to take the fight to the Mad Titan and his army. Seeing him team up with Spidey was a highlight.
Black Panther being put on the backburner for the original six (a totally understandable decision) means that Ryan Coogler will have an awful lot to deal with when his solo sequel finally arrives.
After all, as both T'Challa and Shuri were among the dusted, who became the new King or Queen of Wakanda and will they be willing to give up the throne now the rightful King has returned?
The world knows about Wakanda now too and that's also going to change Black Panther's adventures moving forward. Plus, what about that outreach centre he decided to build over in America?
Well, as it's based on the West Coast, there's a lot of speculation that we could see the formation of the West Coast Avengers, a team that T'Challa would obviously end up being the leader of.
Moving Earth's Mightiest Heroes from the East Coast to the West Coast would definitely make a difference and helps the "New" Avengers stand out from the version of the team we've seen before.
Regardless of whether that happens, there's understandably a lot of excitement about
Black Panther 2, especially after the first instalment became the first Oscar-nominated Marvel Studios movie.
There have been rumours that Erik Killmonger will somehow return, but that seems highly unlikely, and Coogler will no doubt find a new bad guy to pit T'Challa against during the course of the sequel.
Going back to
Avengers: Endgame, T'Challa's arrival on the battlefield was an amazing moment and one that heralded the return of the rest of the universe's mightiest heroes to face down Thanos.
The movie's writers have said that the final battle was originally going to feature a big reunion scene, and you have to believe that would have included T'Challa catching up with General Okoye.
It would also have been nice to see Iron Man and Black Panther share some scenes, but these are movies and not comic books and there are only so many moments that Marvel can find time for.
Now, with both Captain America (the Steve Rogers version, at least) and Iron Man gone, a big void has been left and a character like Black Panther could definitely end up filling that successfully.
Whether he will remains to be seen, but given the resources he has in Wakanda, common sense says that he'll be the one who provides the Avengers with their updated gear moving forward.
After all, imagine seeing Captain America (Sam Wilson) flying into battle with some badass Vibranium wings? Then again, there's a good chance that Sam will end up making his own costume.
As for this statue, it's fair to say that it's pretty badass, and should be a must-have for any fan of the character. It also does a great job of paying homage to the role he played in
Avengers: Endgame.
