AVENGERS: ENDGAME Star Tom Holland Seemingly Confirms A Popular Theory About The Movie - SPOILERS
It looks like Tom Holland confirmed a popular theory about the plot of Avengers: Endgame... a year ago! The Spider-Man actor seemingly let something important slip during a recently resurfaced interview...
A video interview with Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Holland from April of last year has begun doing the rounds online again, and with good reason.
The pair spoke to Access while promoting Avengers: Infinity War, but during the chat, questions inevitably turned to the follow-up, which directors Joe and Anthony Russo shot at the same time.
At one point, Holland - who is notorious for spoiling details about these Marvel movies - says that Cumberbatch's lines are a lot more difficult to learn than his because his character has to talk about so much "Quantum Realm stuff." The Doctor Strange star then jumps in with, "stuff... just stuff!"
Since the Quantum Realm is not mentioned once by Strange - or anyone else, for that matter - in Infinity War, it's reasonable to assume that Holland is referring to Endgame, which means... well, you know what that means!
Check out the interview for yourselves below. The pertinent chatter comes in around the 5:30 mark.
After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018), the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos' actions and restore order to the universe once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store.
