No STAR WARS EPISODE IX But We May Get AVENGERS: ENDGAME And A Whole Lot More During The Super Bowl
A new report reveals what we should - and shouldn't - expect during this weekend's Super Bowl and while Star Wars Episode IX won't be debuting any new footage, there's plenty to get excited about...
Last year, our first look at Solo: A Star Wars Story came during the Super Bowl but don't expect the same to happen for Star Wars Episode IX this weekend. According to Deadline, the belief within Disney is that a sneak peek at the movie would be an event in itself and doesn't need help from the Big Game.
However, there's plenty to still get excited about as the trade reckons we could get new looks at Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel, Aladdin, Dumbo, and Toy Story 4.
Universal Pictures has confirmed that they will be debuting the first Hobbs & Shaw trailer, while Paramount Pictures is set to have a pre-game spot for its Nickelodeon Movies animated feature Wonder Park. Unfortunately, both Sony Pictures and Warner Bros. has decided to sit this one out and that means no Shazam! and probably no Spider-Man: Far From Home either.
As for Fox, Alita: Battle Angel and Dark Phoenix are said to be strong candidates.
So, next weekend looks set to be extremely exciting and while not everything is confirmed just yet, it definitely seems as if there will be some big reveals, particularly from Disney.
