AVENGERS: ENDGAME Marketing May Only Show Footage From The First Twenty Minutes Of The Movie

The teaser trailer for Avengers: Endgame was light on big reveals and it sounds like that will be the case for the entire marketing campaign based on new comments from Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige.

The first teaser trailer for Avengers: Endgame landed last month and while there's no denying that it was an excellent first look at the movie, it failed to answer a lot of the questions fans have following the shocking events of Avengers: Infinity War

Now, as Marvel and Disney's marketing teams begin promoting the sequel, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has been asked just how much we'll see from the movie beforehand. On the red carpet of the 76th Golden Globes, he revealed that it's "somewhat accurate" that the trailers and TV spots won't feature any footage from outside the first fifteen to twenty minutes.

"I'd call it somewhat accurate. As was the case with a lot of our films, this one, in particular, being able to generate a lot of excitement without giving away one of the many, many, many secrets. I think the Disney marketing team is the best in the world and we'll be able to pull it off."

While there's obviously a chance that at least some shots from later on in the movie will be included, it would certainly make sense for Marvel to keep the focus on the first act in order to avoid giving away any major secrets or spoilers, especially when it's so shrouded in secrecy.

Is it a mistake not to show Captain Marvel teaming up with Earth's Mightiest Heroes and that rumoured trip into the Quantum Realm, though? We'll let you decide in the comments section below.

Next trailer will end on Thanos frowning, the camera will switch to his back, move laterally, and reveal Carol in a pissed off mood. Taking bets.

@Oberlin4Prez - very possible considering his BO numbers and roaring popularity. I don’t see many touching BP solo movie in the MCU.

In all honesty, does this movie need any marketing at all?! I mean if they never dropped one trailer I bet the opening day would be just as massive. As fans, our speculation as to what may happen is marketing enough! They know it. Being a child of the 70's and 80's I like it. It creates an anticipation, an expectation of excitement the reminds me of how I felt for Return of the Jedi! I mean after Empire, that's all my friends and I could talk about; what would happen next! Speculation ran wild in my 7 year old mind. I like that giddy feeling. I really hope they deliver!

The Disney marketing team is the best at building hype but they have had zero regard for guarding plot points in the past. Hopefully they can keep this one under wraps.
