Has WWE Superstar Titus O'Neil Landed A Role In An Upcoming Marvel Studios Movie?

Long before he was Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy, Dave Bautista was a WWE Superstar but is wrestler Titus O'Neil about to join him in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Hit the jump for what we know so far.

Wrestlers have a pretty bad rap when it comes to acting but you only need to look at the likes of Dwayne Johnson, John Cena, and Dave Bautista for proof that it is sometimes possible for them to make the leap from the ring to the silver screen. Now, it appears as Titus O'Neil could be about to join them as the tweet below has fans speculating about his future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While it's possible that O'Neil is comparing his physique to a Marvel superhero, it definitely sounds like the man behind Titus Worldwide could have landed a superhero role of some sort. There's nothing to say it's a major speaking role, of course, as it could be that he's just going to show up in a future release like Captain Marvel or the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel as a nameless thug of some sort.

We'll just have to wait and see what happens but O'Neil recently made headlines for this hilarious botch at the Greatest Royal Rumble, so perhaps that's what brought him to Marvel's attention (he's also close friends with Bautista in real-life). What do you guys think? Share your thoughts down below.

@MrFridayNights - that's a start man. He is a very charismatic gentleman and a spokesperson for a lot of wwe events. I would love him to play a hero or villain with the role the size of shocker in homecoming.

Awesome dude... shame he never really made a dent in WWE (aside from the floor) but hopefully this works out for him.

It's hard to tell if the "41 year old" part is about himself or the character.
If it's the character, Guardian of the Shi'ar Imperial Guard debuted 41 years ago. With Marvel going cosmic, it's a possibility (unless Fox has the rights)

Makes sense, as he and Bautista are pretty good friends outside of the ring.

I wonder who he's playing... and in what film?

My top 3 guesses are:

1. Silver Surfer
2. Some sort of Skrull
3. Beta Ray Bill?
