@kevberg, yes I'm endorsing piracy by stating it came out today, so did huge websites like aol and msn. Endorsing would be telling people where to get it, jackass

Spending 80 bucks to see the avengers in theatres, than spending 130 on the case set, but downloading the movie now cuz your excited and can't wait another month makes you the thief, not the company that just made over two hundred dollars off you for a two hour movie?

@cipher Light years ahead of what we got pre Spider-man 2001. Hollywood used to think of all superheroe movies as director David Cronenberg does. That coupled with bad special effects left only a few shining examples of a good superhero on film before the year 2000.

It's kinda silly to have a brand new trailer for something we've seen
A "bluray" trailer is just fvcking stupid
It's an ad not a "trailer"

Well in actual fact, the studios are the real pirates here. For years they've gotten away with conditioning people into a mindset that it's ok for them to pay to see the film on the big screen and then pay again to buy the movie later. Nobody questions it!

BUT!

Consider the fact that when you buy the blu ray it comes with a dvd and digital version for the price you've already paid for the movie ticket and you really should be asking what's stopping them from releasing movies in the cinema and on home video at the same time?

The answer is, they simply want to get as much money out of you as possible for watching the same film. There's nothing stopping them producing this stuff all at once, they simply want you to double-dip by not restricting your options to suit their pockets.

So as far as I'm concerned, once you've paid to see a film in the cinema (especially a film like this which I saw 6 times on the big screen) then you should be allowed a digital download same as when you buy a movie. If they don't want to supply one, then I'm not going to ridicule anyone providing the service they should be doing themselves if they were not so greedy.

Besides, the more copies of films people download and archive the less chance we have of losing entire movies to deterioration like the thousands already gone. The original theatrical cuts of the Star Wars trilogy for example no longer exist on film unless you have a copy on home video. Lucas destroyed them all to force everyone to only be able to watch his new versions instead. You honestly think we don't deserve a proper digital copy of those movies, the amount of money we spent watching them over and over again?

So your older and your woman takes in good money to take care of you and your at the point where you can wait till the blu ray is released. There are people who are the complete opposite of you, people who just wanna watch the avengers. I see your points but there are a lot bigger problems with the world today than millions of people watching a movie
