Offering the first pitch of music from Marvel's The Avengers long-awaited movie, American rock band Soundgarden have outed their return, offering a sample of their new single from the movie, 'Live to Rise'. Additionally, Indian rock band Agnee has released a music video for their new single 'Hello Andhero', which'll serve as the theme song for The Avengers Indian release. Without further ado, watch and listen below!

Soundgarden unveils their first studio recording in 15 years, with snippet of their new track entitled "Live to Rise". The song is set to be featured in the highly-anticipated Marvel motion picture The Avengers. Get an exclusive listen to the track here. The Avengers soundtrack available on iTunes May 1st.

The much talked-about Hindi theme song of Marvel's The Avengers 'Hello Andheron' -- composed and performed by popular band Agnee and lyrics by noted filmmaker Abbas Tyrewala was officially launched on Monday, 26 March, in a spectacular music launch at Blue Grog, Mumbai, at 7pm IST. While Agnee took the stage and performed Hello Andhero live, the biggest attraction of the night was the appearance of Iron Man at the venue!

Although we still have the musical composition from Oscar-nominated composer Alan Silvestri to look forward to, which is said to be "old-fashioned," what do you think of Soundgarden's 'Live to Rise?'

Marvel Studios presents in association with Paramount Pictures “Marvel’s The Avengers”--the super hero team up of a lifetime, featuring iconic Marvel super heroes Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins.

Starring Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson, & directed by Joss Whedon from a screenplay by Joss Whedon, “Marvel’s The Avengers” is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” first published in 1963 and a comics institution ever since. Prepare yourself for an exciting event movie, packed with action and spectacular special effects, when “Marvel’s The Avengers” assemble on May 4, 2012. The film is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. In addition to "Marvel's The Avengers," Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on the Marvel characters including "Iron Man 3" on May 3, 2013!; and “Thor 2” on November 15, 2013.

Why is this happening.

I love Soundgarden. I love the Avengers, but I prefer them best as separate entities, thank you very much.

Damn, that's sick! I didn't know Soundgarden got back together, last I heard, they dismembered, Chris created Audioslave, that broke up and he's been doing random stuff here and there like with Slash and that Casino Royale theme. Seems Marvel likes him, first Cochise with Iron Man now this with Avengers, I'm down with it!!

Fogs
Fogs - 3/27/2012, 6:35 AM
@jimoakley666 - dude, you know you have 2 things - the original score, which in this case is composed by Alan Silvestri and is everything you like, the orchestral tunes and such, and the soundtrack that will include any song played in the movie, even on the credits.

In Thor, for example, we had Foo Fighters playing on the credits, but there was nothing like that on the movie, just the score.

In Iron Man, due to Stark's style, you have AC/DC and other rock tunes playing.

Maybe we'll see a mix of it in the Avengers but due to the scale of the movie I believe it will more like Thor.
