We can argue about many different sides we stand on for certain things, however, if there is one thing that does not need to be debated on, it is that we finally deserve a liv-action Batman after all this time who has his comic-accurate white-eyes.
There have been many great - perhaps even iconic, iterations of Batman over the decades: Michael Keaton, Christian Bale, Ben Affleck (who actually did don a suit in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice with eyes strikingly similar to his comicbook counterpart)... and while they all have their designated fanbases, there is still one flaw with all of them... no white-eyes!
Now that Robert Pattinson has taken up the mantle as the Caped Crusader in The Batman, we wonder if he could be the Batman that finally breaks the consistent streak of showcasing a live-action Batman with no white-eyes.
A new edit has been released showing what Pattinson's Batman could potentially look like if he were to strike the comic-accurate white-eyes, and it definitely gains speculation if this could come to fruition in The Batman II.
Pattinson's suit is one of the most distinctive from previous Batman interpretations, and from the look of this edit, white-eyes would suit the bat very nicely.
There could be a number of reasons why we never had a Batman striking the white-eyes up until now - one major reason could be a CGI concern of not looking too good, or realistic enough. Or in recent years the norm for creating a live-action Batman has been standardized without including the comic-accurate white-eyes.
What do you think? Would you like to see Robert Pattinson's Batman strike the iconic white-eyes? Or maybe even the soon-to-be cast Batman in James Gunn's DCU?
