Christian Bale Plans On Seeing BATMAN V SUPERMAN...Just Not On Opening Day

"I think it looks great. My little boy really likes watching the trailers online. I think they’ve done a bloody good job. I don’t know that I’ll go see it in the movie theaters, but I’ll certainly see it."

FACT: Christian Bale was sought to play a role in the DCEU by Zack Snyder.  However, Snyder didn't want Bale to reprise his role of Batman/Bruce Wayne.  Does Bale have a hard time seeing someone else beneath the cowl so soon after he completed what's arguably the greatest superhero trilogy of all-time? Not at all.  Said Bale---

"I think it looks great.  My little boy really likes watching the trailers online.  I think they’ve done a bloody good job. I don’t know that I’ll go see it in the movie theaters, but I’ll certainly see it.  '

The reason Bale probably won't be able to see Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in theaters is because he'll be busy filming his next feature, Scott Cooper's Hostiles.  Bale can currently be seen in Terrence Malick's Knight of Cups.  Dawn of Justice hits US theaters in just 2 weeks, premiering on March 25. Big actors like Bale, RDJ, and Affleck don't go to the movies with us.
They pay thousands of dollars for a subscription fee that allows them to get theatrical releases directly sent to them to watch in the comfort of their home theaters.

Well considering there was a shooting opening night at the last batman film I don't blame him, I'm kind of scared to go see any movie opening night now

The fact that he can watch this leisurely in the comfort of his home theater, Bale is basically telling us:

Respect for Bale always. He'll always be my Batman. I grew up on him.
