CW's own Batman-adjacent series surrounding the Caped Crusaders children and the offspring of his greatest foes has begun filming its pilot episode. Supernatural Alum Misha Collins, who will portray Harvey Dent in the Gotham Knights universe, let fans know that filming had indeed started and that he had reported to set via a Tweet earlier today.
There's nothing much to be gained from inspecting the photos, as Collin's was sure to use snaps that woudln't get him in trouble from any of the network's higher ups. The first photo posted appeared to be of a plastic bag - perhaps the protective covering for his on-screen costume? Too hard to tell, though his take on the character should be fascinating.
Micha also posted a second photo that was no more spoilery than the first: a close up of what appears to be the fabric of his pants. Either the actor hasn't yet changed into his character's wardrobe, or we have exclusive confirmation that this version of Harvey Dent is a jeans man!
Collins makes it clear that while he can't give too much away, he remains devoted to the fans above all, so we can surely look forward to more cryptic photos as time goes on.
Misha Collins will be joined on the series by Oliva Rose Keegan as Duela, Anna Lore as Stephanie Brown/Spoiler, Navia Ziraili Robinson as Carrie Kelly/Robin, and Fallon Smythe & Tyler DiChiara as siblings Harper and Cullen Row.
"Bruce Wayne is murdered, his adopted son forges an alliance with the children of Batman's enemies, the city becomes more dangerous. However, mismatched fugitives will become its next generation of saviors, known as the Gotham Knights," reads the show's synopsis.
