My BATMAN Fancast & Plot Idea

My take on how a new Batman movie could look.

Hey everybody, I'm rather new to this website and I think it's interesting to see other people's ideas for movies so I decided to post one. Sorry if it's not up to par with the vets lol.

The Crusader

Bruce Wayne-Tyler Hoechlin

Jim Gordon- Josh Brolin

Alfred- Hugh Laurie

Harvey Bullock- Michael Madsen

Black Mask- Ray Liotta

Deathstroke- Stephen Lang

Thomas Elliot- Ryan Gosling

Andrea Beaumont- Abby Cornish

Lucius Fox- Denzel Washington

Batman's 1 or 2 years in his career
over confident
hasn't fought many opponents on the same level as him

Deathstroke: family was kidnapped
Was forced to let military work on him
Wife was killed, son is barely living in the hospital. Can't afford to pay bills so he works for money

Thomas Elliot: childhood friend of Bruce and Andrea
Jealous of Bruce and Andrea's relationship
Successful surgeon

Plot: Batman is constantly interfering with Black Mask's plans so he hires Deathstroke to kill him.
Deathstroke defeats Batman easily, but police intervene before he can kill him.
Batman does detective work, discovers Deathstroke's identity and uses the information against him in the final battle.
Unable to take the torture, Deathstroke commits suicide.
Police catch Black Mask.
Bruce Wayne pays for all of Deathstroke's son's procedures.

Subplot: Believing to marry her, Bruce reveals to Andrea that he is Batman.
Thomas becomes psychopathic after failing to save a patient and finding out Bruce and Andrea's engagement.
Thomas kidnaps Andrea at the end and she reveals Batman's identity.

Post credits scene: Black Mask is seen talking to an Arkham worker with Edward Nigma on nametag.

Riddler- Michael C. Hall. He was originally going to play Hush, but I don't think it'd be believable for him and Tyler to be around the same age.

Armie Hammer could never pull off Thomas Eliot... He's a bad actor.

Images may help break up the article otherwise it can be a little hard to read.

@jorellinator are you saying that because of Lone Ranger, or have you seen other movies he has played in?

I like your idea for the movie because it is mix I haven't seen that many times, and I'm a fan of Andrea Beaumont, but I do have some suggestions.

1) You do not seem to use either Thomas Elliot aka. Hush or Andrea Beaumont aka. Phantom/the Reaper to the full extent that their character allows. Now I know your post credit sequence set up Riddler but it still does not foreshadow that Thomas Elliot will become Hush and they might work together, which I think is a lost chance.

Now, my idea is simple switch Deathstroke with Andrea Beaumont's villainious alter ego the Phantom and take inspiration both from B:tMoP and Judson Caspian aka. the Reaper (the character which the Phantom is based upon). Instead of a son being in the hospital it is her father (for easter egg sake, let's call him Caspian Beaumont), who is in a coma. The man was a wealthy socialite and friends with both the Wayne's and Elliot's, making him the last surviving parent of your three main characters. Thomas Elliot having killed his, slowly becoming Hush, but not quite.

Now the rest I'm not quite sure how to fit in, Andrea would need a reason to fight Batman. I'm thinking that her father could actually be the reaper in the opening scenes being hired by Black Mask to take down Batman. He is defeated and ends up in a coma, making Andrea take up the mantle and pursuing Batman, maybe even getting Black Mask down (mirroring how the character hunted down mob bosses in B:tMoP).

As for the love triangle. We have Bruce who takes the knee and becomes engaged to Andrea in the opening scenes, which makes the fact that he learns her father was the Phantom/the Reaper that more impactful. He does not know how to comfort Andrea, and as Thomas has just returned as succesful surgeon, Andrea becomes infatuated with him, as he might be able to save her father. (In this Andrea takes the place of Peyton Riley from the comics). At the same time Thomas is Bruce's childhood friend, which makes their relationship very difficult.

During this Batman is struggling to figure out who has taken up the mantle of the Phantom and started working their way towards Black Mask and trying to kill Batman himself. Different evidences accidently start point him towards Thomas, who is struggling himself with the pressure of having to find a way to save Andrea's father and his love for her even though she is engaged to his best friend. He learns unsettling things about Thomas' past since they were childhood friend, e.g. Thomas possibly having a stake in killing his parents. However concludes after having staked him going into surgery on Andrea's dad, that he is not the man behind the mask of the Phantom.
Unfortunately the surgery goes very wrong and Andrea's dad dies. Thomas is broken when he delivers the news to Andrea, who becomes furious and storms off, leaving Thomas to his pain and guilt. Andrea as the Phantom goes directly after the Black Mask, hoping that it might lure out Batman, so she can exact her revenge on them.
Batman arrives as she is about to kill Black Mask and reveals that he knows that the Phantom is Andrea. Batman argues that it is not the right thing to kill either him or Black Mask and that her father's death was essentially his own doing. It ends with Batman saving Black Mask but failing to save Andrea.
This tear out Bruce's heart, but when Thomas learns it, it sends him over the edge, which is my idea of a post credit scene, where we see Thomas Elliot assume the identity of Hush.

But I realise this completely changes your idea, just thought i would share an idea that would justify Andrea Beaumont a little better, however not following the source material that strictly, but nevertheless being true to the character. Now, I would also like if Bruce could at some point reveal his identity to Andrea, I just didn't know how to squeeze that in.

Anyway, another idea that is more close to your's is this:

2) Why not have the patient that Thomas lose be the son of Deathstroke. After he defeats Batman the first time he is given the money by Black Masks organisation to help his son. But something goes wrong and the son dies. This upsets Thomas, but also sends Deathstroke after Black Mask. This way you create some ties between your overall plot and sub-plot

@ LazyMcGrady

Tyler Hoechlin as Bruce Wayne/Batman I can actually see it even though if he were a few years older then yes he would be perfect but he's young, I could see him as Nightwing, but my pick for Bruce Wayne/Batman would be Liam McIntyre

As Gordon I would go with Harrison Ford

As Alfred I would go with Ciaran Hinds, Geoffrey Rush or John Hurt

As Harvey Bullock I would go with Michael Madsen

As Black Mask I would go with Luke Evans

As Deathstroke I would go with Stephen Lang

As Thomas Elliott/Hush I would go with Joel Kinnaman and as Andrea Beaumont I would go with Rachel McAdams

And as Lucius Fox, I would go with Denzel Washington too

I don't know who the main actor is, and I don't think Armie Hammer would be a good Thomas Elliot IMO.

But the others are pretty good.

@ndwwrestler2 appreciate it! Tyler Hoechlin plays a role on Teen Wolf who is essentially a Batman type of character. I'm going to change Armie Hammer though. I'm starting to agree with people lol.
