Matt Reeves' The Batman is reportedly looking for a very specific set of criteria when it comes to the actor that will don the cape and cowl following Ben Affleck's departure. WB is reported to be looking for a "household-name" in his 30s to portray the Caped Crusader for a new trilogy.

Sadly, that likely means Scott Adkins (42), who's had small but noticeable roles in Zero Dark Thirty, Doctor Strange and X-Men: Origins: Wolverine, do
esn't exactly fit the bill.  Nevertheless, it seems that hasn't deterred the veteran actor and stuntman from filming an audition tape.

There's probably little doubt that Adkins has the athleticism to play Batman; which is why in the video below, he uses an emotional scene from Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises to show off what type of Bruce Wayne he'd make.
