Dark Knight Director Christopher Nolan Denies Pollution Rumor

A recent story reported that filthy polluted water was the reason for cutting a stunt from the film Batman: The Dark Kmight, Christopher Nolan has come forward denying that as the reason.

The stunt in question would have had Batman jumping from a plane into the polluted Victoria Harbour in Hong Kong.

Christopher Nolan came foward to explain why the scene was actually cut out; "That was my decision, nothing to do with pollution. It was simply a script decision,...Once you see the finished film, you will understand why. As far as the pollution question goes, I honestly have no problem dumping movie stars in it."

The film has been shooting for several days across Hong Kong's skyline and is set to continue placing Christan Bale on the top of the 90-storey IFC2, Hong Kong's tallest building.
