Gordon had a better batman voice than batman lol. Everyone was great in this. Penguin steals the show.

Rolled my eyes when they first announced a Penguin series thinking it would be too similar to Gotham, but after seeing how well Farrell did with the character I'm really looking forward to it now.

Truth be told, there wasn't a single bad actor/character in this movie. Everyone does supremely well and while some characters are obviously more fleshed out than others, I didn't feel that anyone was lacking. Penguin was a DEFINITE stand-out though and I'm actually looking forward to seeing his series which is surprising to say lol.

Gotta say I mostly agree with the exception of Gordon because honestly I don’t remember him at all. I didn’t dislike him but I simply felt he only existed and didn’t bring anything memorable to the film.

That being said I loved the cast! Everyone had something really great added to the movie. Really loved penguin! Never thought Farrell would be the best casting choice in the movie lol

Fact of the matter is the whole cast did a phenomenal job. I don’t think there really was a weak link.

There wasn't a single character in here that I didn't like. Yeah, I wish Riddler was in it more, but that's not even really a nitpick, just a desire lol.

I'd really like to see Hugo Strange as the main villain for the next one. Someone who doesn't really want to necessarily take down Batman, but obsess over him.

This list reminds me of why I dislike Wildings opinions as well as his compulsion to spoil movies. Dano’s riddler and Batman are the most interesting characters in the movie. Catwoman was a third with Gordon at four. Penguin was just noise to me and not that special. I’m sure Penguin will get more interesting in future stuff but he wasnt anything special outside of cool that Ferrel was unrecognizable in that makeup. Alfred wasn’t anything special and all other characters were not that relevant enough to make an impact.

Can't help but feel they kind of wasted Serkis on the Alfred role. Dude could've done a variety of awesome villains, and instead he's stuck with a relatively subdued Alfred who'll probably never be more in the spotlight than in this movie.

I didn’t think Riddler was all that but he definitely shouldn’t be last. Alfred and Serkis were wasted. I liked Gordon but I can’t say there was anything memorable about him.

Being a huge Millers Crossing fan it was great to see John Turturro play a gangster again. I really liked the scenes with Falcone and Bruce, you get a feeling that he weirdly cares for Bruce.

Seems they merged Riddler with Hush. Which is unfortunate because I would have loved to have seen Hush on his own.

I also get the feeling, with Martha having spent time at Arkham, that Joker might be Bruce's brother.

Yeah it was cringey. Essentially blaming all of Gotham’s problems on white men. And of course the decent person running for mayor is a black woman. Indicating only black women can make positive change from evil white men. 🙄🙄🙄🙄

People really need to wake up from all of this race tribalism and just realize that both bad and good people come in all races, nationalities, and backgrounds.

Telling myself this is part 1 of this giant story adaption, I enjoyed everyone, (including the cameo) esp seeing how these are the earliest versions of these characters. The evolution is what I’m excited to see and grow with. I’m Trying not to nitpick too much because I really enjoyed this film
