"It's not just a signal... it's a warning."
Ahead of the new trailer for Matt Reeves' The Batman at DC FanDome this Saturday, the movie's Twitter account has shared a brief teaser promo. It doesn't include any new footage from the movie, but it does feature some dialogue from Robert Pattinson's Dark Knight!
We got a little tease of Pattinson's "Bat-voice" in the first trailer, but this is the first time we've heard him utter more than a couple of words. It sounds like he's going to be adopting a similar inflection to Ben Affleck's take on the Caped Crusader, but, to be fair, there aren't many options available to an actor when it comes to this character.
Many feel Christian Bale went a bit OTT with the gravelly tones in Christopher Nolan's movies (particularly The Dark Knight Rises), so a harsh whisper is probably the best choice.
Check out the video below along with some new promo art and the full DC FanDome lineup.
