THE BATMAN Trailer Brings Fear To Gotham City As Robert Pattinson's Caped Crusader Faces The Riddler

Warner Bros. wrapped up DC FanDome with an epic new trailer for The Batman, and trust us when we say this will leave your jaw on the floor as you count down the seconds to March 4, 2022. Tale a look...

Well, this was certainly worth the wait.

DC FanDome wrapped up with the second trailer for The Batman, and to say this movie looks phenomenal feels like a massive understatement. The visuals here are insanely good, and it feels like director Matt Reeves really couldn't have found a better Caped Crusader than Robert Pattinson.

We follow this younger Batman as he tears through Gotham City, and while the movie is clearly grounded in reality, this Dark Knight walks into bullets and is a true force to be reckoned with. However, he may have met his match in The Riddler, a deadly killer who brings fear to Batman's home.

We also get a first look at Andy Serkis' Alfred Pennyworth and some great shots of Selina Kyle/Catwoman. Zoe Kravitz looks like the ultimate femme fatale, and seeing her in action is a real treat.

A very brief synopsis for The Batman has also been released that states, "From Warner Bros. Pictures comes Matt Reeves’ 'The Batman,' starring Robert Pattinson in the dual role of Gotham City’s vigilante detective and his alter ego, reclusive billionaire Bruce Wayne." Something tells us they'll be keeping plot details a closely guarded secret as we head towards that March 2022 release.

Honestly, this trailer speaks for itself, and if you're not excited after watching this, we don't know what to say. The action looks brutal, and this promises to be the detective story fans have been asking for.

I love watching Andy Serkis as Alfred. After Burton's Alfred, I think he will be my favorite Alfred.

@Repian - I agree.

All these performances look solid to great, but I'm really looking forward to Colin Ferrell. He's throwing out serious James Gandolfini (rip) as Tony Soprano vibes and im kinda loving that for penguin. Makes me wanna see James in the role, I'd never consider him for the role when he was alive but this looks amazing. He could have done it without the makeup.

@Repian - man Michael Caine just said his last movie..: was his LAST movie. Spinal problems and difficulty walking. That’s how old age works sometimes but still, sad to hear.
