Harley Quinn was the breakout character in 2016's
Suicide Squad so it's no real surprise that she will be the focal point of
Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn). Now, Warner Bros, is celebrating the release of that first trailer by having Margot Robbie's HQ take over their logo on social media!
It's a unique approach to promoting the DC Comics adaptation, and one that's going to grab the attention of fans in a big way. Of course, those who aren't on board with Harley getting the spotlight probably won't be overly happy with this decision.
With any luck, characters like Black Canary and Huntress will still get a decent amount of screentime, as they could easily move into other franchises or even their own spinoffs. As for Quinn, she's obviously going to be returning to Task Force X as part of James Gunn's
The Suicide Squad next year, so that's where her particular story looks set to continue.
What do you guys make of this new logo for Warner Bros.?
