Following the
Osric Chau casting news,
TV Line is reporting that Ashley Scott, who played Helena Kyle, a.k.a. The Huntress, on The WB's short-lived
Birds of Prey television series, will reprise her role for the upcoming "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover.
No word on whether her former co-stars Dina Meyer (Barbara Gordon/Batgirl/Oracle) and/or Rachel Skarsten (Dinah Redmond/Black Canary) will reprise their roles as well, but the possibility certainly can't be ruled out now that Scott is officially onboard. Skarsten is also a series regular on
Batwoman, playing the villainous Alice, so the likelihood she appears, at least, in some capacity does seem to be high.
Scott now joins a extensive number of special guest stars, which include Tom Welling as
Smallville Clark Kent/Superman, Erica Durance as
Smallville Lois Lane, LaMonica Garrett as The Monitor/Anti-Monitor, Tyler Hoechlin as Earth-38 Clark Kent/Superman, Elizabeth Tulloch as Earth-38 Lois Lane, Jon Cryer as Lex Luthor, Cress Williams as Black Lightning, John Wesley Shipp as Barry Allen/Earth-90 Flash, Johnathon Schaech as Jonah Hex, Osric Chau as Ryan Choi/The Atom, Kevin Conroy as future Bruce Wayne and Burt Ward in an undisclosed role. Additional
Black Lightning characters are also expected to appear, but it's not entirely clear which ones just yet.
Both Brandon Routh (
Legends of Tomorrow) and Tom Cavanagh (
The Flash) will be pulling double duty for their respective shows. Routh will suit up as both The Atom and Kingdom Come Superman, while Cavanagh is expected to play Pariah in addition to the latest iteration of Harrison Wells.
"Crisis on Infinite Earths" begins with
Supergirl on December 8, followed by
Batwoman on December 9,
The Flash on December 10 and concludes with an
Arrow/Legends of Tomorrow double header on January 14, 2020.
