Eternals' post-credits scene introduced Mahershala Ali's new take on Blade (offscreen) as he dropped by to offer guidance to Dane Whitman (Kit Harington), who was about to take up the Ebony Blade. This obviously hinted at a Blade/Black Knight team-up down the line, and it sounds like Marvel Studios' upcoming reboot may also introduce Whitman's love interest.

A casting call has gone out for an upcoming MCU project, which they guys over at Knight Edge Media believe to be Blade. The studio is searching for a North African Actress who speaks French (20-40s) to play a character named FAIZA, who is described as a "tough and agile fighter with a strong presence and a talker who never backs down". Potential candidates for the role "must be open to training period beforehand. Actors with fight experience are encouraged to submit."

This is almost certainly Dr. Faiza Hussain, a Muslim woman who wielded Excalibur and eventually adopted the codename of King Arthur's legendary sword when she became an agent of MI13. Hussain met Dane Whitman during the Skrull invasion of Earth and the two eventually embarked on a relationship. Faiza would go on to battle many foes alongside the likes of Doctor Strange and Captain Britain, including Dracula. Could this be the thread that connects the character to the Day Walker in the movie?

The project is also casting actors to play HUNTLEY ("40s-60s, Formidable and overly sophisticated, most people think he takes himself too seriously"), and ABID ("20s-30s, male, South Asian. Strong, burly, and lightweight. Though he’s taken a vow of silence, his eyes tell us he has been through strife.")

What do you guys make of this? Will Blade introduce an entire team of vampire hunters? Be sure to share your theories in the comments.
