BLOODSHOT: Get Your First Official Look At GOTG Actor Vin Diesel As Ray Garrison
Guardians of the Galaxy star Vin Diesel has shared a first official look at his character from Sony's upcoming Bloodshot adaptation - although it's prior to the nanite experiment that gives him his powers.
Vin Diesel has shared an official look at his character from the upcoming Bloodshot movie, and he looks like... Vin Diesel out for a stroll in army gear.
Unfortunately, we're going to have to wait a while before seeing how the actor looks fully transformed into Bloodshot himself, but here he is as the antihero's alter-ego, Ray Garrison.
In the Valiant Comics series, Garrison is a former soldier who undergoes an experiment to inject nanites into his bloodstream, giving him incredible regenerative and meta-morphing abilities.
Joining Diesel in the lead role will be Eiza Gonzalez (Baby Driver, Alita: Battle Angel), Michael Sheen (Underworld, Tron: Legacy), and Sam Heughan (Outlander, The Spy Who Dumped Me).
The R-rated project will be the first film in a five-picture deal between Beverly Hills/Beijing-based DMG and Valiant Entertainment, with Harbinger expected to follow. Neal Moritz will produce, while Blur Studios' Dave Wilson is on board as director.
Apparently, sequels are planned for both Harbinger and Bloodshot before the title characters meet in a Harbinger Wars movie.
