Ten weeks ago, two guys came together to create something new and different for the comicbook community. We wanted to create a show that focused on comics and comic book tv shows as well as movies. As our little show continued on our own separate youtube channels, we began to expand. We brought on a part time co-host in Amber who in turn brought with her a friend to help with reviews named Jeff. Our show continued to grow as people began to see the fun we have doing it and we soon brought in Billy and Dylan to join us on a part time basis as well. Now Comicgeddon has grown to a daily series on Comicgeddon TV on Youtube (7 shows a week). We film every episode on Saturday each week and talk about more than just comics, tv and movies.
Saturdays- News in a Flash (geek culture related news)
Sundays- Episode Review (discussion and review of that week's episodes of comicbook related shows)
Mondays- Toy Review (Reviewing new and old toys related to geek culture)
Tuesdays-Recommended Reading (Review and recommendations on what comics to read)
Wednesdays- Game Review (Recommending and reviewing games of all styles both new and old)
Thursdays- Special Episode Day (Often interviewing geeks, business owners and discussions)
Fridays- Behind Scenes and Outtakes
During filming, we have a lot of fun and hold contests for viewers to win special prizes. Our channel is still new so we're looking to build our audience and promote all things Geek Culture. Each episode if produced and directed by S.M. Cornthwaite of A Dutch Oven Productions. News is gathered each week from across the internet by Shannon from publisher websites, cbm.com, superhero hype, facebook, etc.
Take the time to discover our show. As John stated on his Facebook page "Have you been checking out Comicgeddon? You should. It tastes like bacon. And bacon's good!"
