Spider-man & Batman are different in powers true, but their character in experiences & villains are comparable, so let's explore that!
1) They're both orphans: Batman's parents infamous death by the hands of Joe Chill is a major event in Batman's life, similarly Spider-man's parents died in a mysterious plane crash. Both of these occurred while the heroes were young.
2) Family deaths caused inspiration: Batman & Spider-man both were inspired to become crime fighters after the death of Bruce's parents & Uncle Ben's death respectively.
3) Similarities with their rouges gallery:
Silvermane-Falcone (mob bosses of respected cities where the hero lives)
Kingpin-Black Mask (head bosses of crime underworld)
Green Goblin-Joker (greatest nemesis of hero, laughing gas, insane, etc.)
Doctor Octopus-Hugo Strange (once sane now insane masterminds)
Chameleon-Hush (expert identity thieves originally via detailed masks)
Lizard-Killer Croc (reptilian abilities & appearance)
Sandman-Clayface (shape manipulating abilities, accidental)
Black Cat-Catwoman (romantic interests & expert gymnast/thieves)
Prowler-Azreal (filled in for respected hero briefly, previous enemies)
Venom-Bane (stronger versions of their respected hero and lol at the irony)
Mysterio-Mad Hatter (mental manipulators & master illusionists)
Tombstone-Great White Shark (liaisons for crime underworld)
4) Tragic Events which greatly affected the heroes, caused by their greatest nemesis: Gwen Stacy's death at the hands of the Green Goblin & Jason Todd's death at the hands of the Joker.
