That signal is just stupid... Anyway, does anyone know if all the Earth One books are set in the same time/universe? I'm not a crazy fan of them but from what I've read they all seem to be pretty segregated from one another.

As I've written before:
Superman:Earth One + Superman:Birthright = Henry Cavill's Superman

You could could also argue for Superman:Red Son, Henry Cavill did read this comic to prepare himself for his role.

Man, I've only read the first issue, it was good. Man of Steel movie took a lot from it.

I enjoyed the first two as standalone books in their own right.

I don't understand why they won't run earth one concurrently with the new 52 like the ultimate marvel line. I love the straight forward stories and bleak tone of that universe. 4 years later and the main titles of the new 52 still suck. I want more earth one stories.

I loved the first one and the second one was okay. I'm picking this one up none the less.

I wonder if Snyder read this book before making Man of Steel.

I didn't really like the first volume of earth one. I understand that it's a new interpretation for an alternate universe, so it can take licenses, but it just didn't really capture the spirit of what I love about Superman. From what I remember, the character lacked warmth and making him a super genius made him even harder to relate to because the character is basically absolute perfection rather than incredible physical gifts given to a normal person who struggles with finding himself the way we all do.

Birthright is more in line with how I see Superman and I'd love to see a volume 2 and 3 of that to make it a trilogy.

For some reason, I hope DC gets Scott Snyder/Greg Capullo to do Flash Earth One.

Just as long as Greg and Scott stay on the Batman title. Greg can handle the art on both. Dude does 2 pages of art a day.

Ok @PumpkinKing

No trolling from me. Serious question. Why no to Snyder? Dude's DC's best writer.

And Grant is doing Wonder Woman Earth One.

Earth one is my favorite superman story, followed by birthright, i love how superman isn't a giant, there really is no need for him to have super large muscles.

Yep, but I think BvS will make more money, because fans are more excited with Bats than with Star Wars...
