It's not really a retcon. A true retcon is they eiteher act like something else happened or they replace it with a totally different history and everyone goes with it. THe existence Sentry, Tony Being made in Afghanistan, Ms. Marvel being in a coma and not being back in time with "Marcus". This is more of a historical reveal, like Daredevil's mom being an activist and having psychological issues, or new Nick Fury existing.

this is disgusting

@Trickwil

So they just happen to change it right before the AOU where Magneto is not their father and they're not mutants

And the new 616 Nick Fury just ahhpens to change right after The Avengers break all box office records.

Booo!!! You're doing it wrong Marvel! The comics should influence the movies not the other way around!

The comic book industry is doomed if they're all as terrible as you guys claim they are.

The comic book industry is going to fail for one reason: the pricing.

I actually never liked to fact that the Twins were mutants. I always wanted the mutants to stay on the X-teams and the Avengers to be the other heroes, except for Wolverine which would be like the mutant "representative" to the team, and it goes for Beast as well, Beast's genius and humor almost seems wasted in Avengers to me. This is probably part of why I always favored Black Widow and Photon over Scarlet Witch. I also never particularly liked having a speedster on the team. But since I love the Twins history with the team, SW's relationship with Vision and Wonder Man, and Quicksilver's attitude I like to have them around.

I know, it sucks. I only buy the dollar back issues on websites. I can get 17 back issues with 20 bucks, where as I could only get 7-8 regular priced comics.

It's B.S.

@Pasto, agreed. It doesn't make sense for the electronic versions to be 4 and 5 bucks a piece. That's just greedy.

I was thinking about buying the Infinity graphic novel today. Thing cost 42 bucks on MidtownComics.

I mean seriously.

And that was just the paperback copy. Imagine the price for a hardcover.

While many are getting upset about the second retcon for both QS and SW, I am upset that QS needs goggles all of a sudden.

Think the last Marvel comic I read was Indestructible Hulk, most of this stuff won't matter anyway if they're supposed to be rebooting the Marvel universe soon with Secret Wars right?
