Not sure about the stories (because i haven't read them), but i picked up a few of these comics just for the 3D cover alone. Darkseid and Joker covers are pretty sweet.

At the end of their first encounter with Solomon Grundy he was gaining power because of all the death on earth, so the only way to defeat him was to send him to the moon where there is no life.

This must be him returning to Earth.

Epic storyline going on in the Earth 2 book. One of the better reads of the new 52.Grundy had always been one of my favorite villains, this new incarnation is quite different from the original.
