Last month, I mentioned that the Teen Titans were coming to Smallville and today we have our first look at them. This week, the four chapter arc titled "Titans" kicks off in digital format. It features young heroes like Conner Kent/ Superboy, Jaime Reyes/ Blue Beetle, Mia Dearden/ Speedy, Megan Morse/ Miss Martian, and Zan and Jayna coming together under Jay Garrick, the original Flash. They are said to take on a villain that has ties to Season 10 of the TV show.

"There's tension between Jay and Conner, for sure. Conner's got an 'S' on his chest, and all the perceived responsibility that comes along with that. And Jay's seen 'little punks' come and go his entire life," writer Bryan Q. Miller told Newsarama. "'Scion' in Season 10 was about Conner struggling against his Luthor and Kent genetics. Titans sees him trying to figure out how to not let those base instincts rule in either direction, and be his own man. And, to the delight of some Young Justice fans, there's a good chance Conner and Megan might get some alone time."

Interior art will be done by series cover artist Cat Staggs. For those desiring a print copy, you can likely expect one in early 2014.
