COMICS: Greg Capullo's BATMAN #35 Cover Sees Bats Clash With The Justice League

Scott Snyder (American Vampire) and Greg Capullo (Spawn) will kick off their biggest and, hopefully, best Batman storyline next month, as the first chapter of 'Endgame' has the Dark Knight clash with none other than the Justice League! Check out Capullo's cover after the jump.

Batman writer Scott Snyder has teased that the upcoming storyline, Endgame, will see him reteam with acclaimed artist Greg Capullo and be their biggest yet, featuring a range of characters from across the DCU. With the solicitations doing their best to keep the story a secret with vague information and placeholder cover art, DC have finally revealed Capullo's actual cover, and it's a doozy. It's interesting to note that despite the fact the Justice League roster has changed in recent months, we still only see the original line-up of Bats, Wonder Woman, Superman, the Flash, Cyborg, Aquaman and... Green Lantern? Didn't Hal Jordan leave the team two years ago? He certainly did, but maybe he'll make a return, or it could be Jessica Cruz, aka the new Power Ring. No sign of Lex Luthor, Captain Cold or Shazam, who joined the team post-Forever Evil, however. Check out the solicit and cover below!

From the superstar creative team that brought you a new start to the Caped Crusader comes the story that could end him. Be there in October for the biggest, deadliest and most epic story yet from writer Scott Snyder and artist Greg Capullo -- "Batman: Endgame" begins here!

I guess it'll be something like Justice League: Doom.

I dropped this after Zero Year. I love Capullo's art, but can't stand Scott Snyder's writing.

Wasn't "Endgame" the name of the last Batman issue in the Pre-New 52 comics?

It'll be cool to see Snyder write the Justice League.

This is hilarious. All I can imagine Batman saying is, "[frick] you Cyborg, Martian Manhunter is better than you!"

Stop complaining about the art. First of all, it's just a cover and second of all, there's nothing wrong with it.

The Flash's face is a little derpy, but I see nothing wrong with Superman.

That's what I thought at first, but I think it's Power Ring, who was introduced in the last couple of issues of Justice League.

not liking the art at all. flash looks dumb and whats up with supes and aquaman's legs blurring like that. Seems like a trick Deadpools Daddy might use.

Superman looks like Jay Leno! Other than him and Flash, I think everyone looks alright. I love Capullo's work, but this seems rather rough.
