i feel bad for this book and Superman because I have zero desire to read any Superman related book until Unchained comes out.

You guys obviously haven't read the two issues before this. Art and story have been really good. Lex is in pulling strings and is in classic form. Cold. Intelligent. Merciless. Last ended issue ended with him about to expose his dealings in this. I'm almost sure he's the one jamming Veritas' signal.
