COMICS: Spoiler For "Death Of The Family" Revealed On RED HOOD AND THE OUTLAWS Cover?

Artist Mico Suayan has listed this Red Hood And The Outlaws #19 cover for sale as a piece of original art, and what's on the other side of the special gatefold cover may just reveal what exactly The Joker has under that silver platter of his. Check it out! [MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD]

As each of the "Death Of The Family" tie-in's came to an end last month, we were teased with The Joker confronting each of the Bat-Family with a bloody silver platter; the contents of which were never revealed...at least not yet! Well, is it possible that it contains the face of Jason Todd?! Well, let's not jump to any conclusions right now. After all, covers often mislead the reader or feature symbolic images which are more relevant to the themes of the story rather than the actual content of the comic book itself. Also, that could just be The Joker! Even so, it's still interesting to wonder whether this artwork has unintentionally spoiled the end of the epic storyline...

You never forget the first Robin you seriously maim. Grayson belongs to Two Face. Jason is the Jokers. Tim I think prior to the new52 was becoming Ra's. Damien has yet to earn his.

If this is legit, and not misleading. This proves my latest theory. Still...wish I hadn't clicked on this.

Kill the Joker. Just [frick]ing kill him off.

He's no longer the cunning yet funny jokester he once was, now he's just a soulless creature with no humor what so ever.

After ALL the things the Joker has done recently, Batman should just break his neck and end his madness. I'm a strong supporter of the "heroes do not kill" rule, but GOD!

Too much blood from the plate to be just the skin of a face. Still think it's Alfie.

I called it, I knew there was something off about Jason Todd waking up w/ his mask on.

i think when this is done n over with this ill be one of those stories that rivals the killing joke as one of the best joker stories

I don't think that it's Jason Todd's face even though it seems likely now. I still think it's Alfred. On the cover of 17, it shows Batman holding Jason Todd's body with blood coming out of the mask and saying that in the wake of Death of the Family, Batman confronts Jason Todd. In 18, the blurb says that Jason Todd suffered terribly at the hands of the Joker which goes for everyone else too, but maybe it his face even though that doesn't seem like enough blood.

In the most recent issue of RH, the Joker shows Tim and Jason the platters, but Jason already had his mask cracked and you could see the skin on his face. I don't think it's his face underneath.

@starkillerkch and Thunderking
Marvel's heroes killing their foes more frequently is part of what makes them different from DC heroes.

That difference is a good thing. We shouldn't want DC being more like Marvel, or Marvel being more like DC, no matter what.

@CPIXLEY
yes, but in TT#16, Jason is seen the same way...before he and Tim are knocked out again by gas from a trick Joker body. After a blackout we see Joker singing and dragging them down a hallway. A lot could have happened between pages.

How about?.......

Jason has been the joker all this time, wearing jokers face? There's got to be a connection to the reason why joker removed his face in the first place, no?

@jjk2814 true, but the joker can't go around killing people then getting caught then breaking out and killing again. DC hero's should not kill all the time but should kill only when it is nessarsary. unlike marvel whose hero kill the henchmen and sometimes the villian. DC should not change to be like marvel they should change to make it better more real. They should take what happend in TDKR batman killed a few people because it was nessarsary.

are you serious ... joker will serve jason's head to jason.... i dont think so....
jjk2814
jjk2814 - 2/1/2013, 7:50 PM
@starkillerkch
Okay, I can see it that way. Afterall, despite my hatred for Oliver killing willy-nilly in Arrow, I appreciate that in the comics he has killed. Twice. But...I want Batman to hold true to his One Rule. It's stood this long. It should stay. I say let Jason kill him. Or maybe Tim or Alfred. Just have Alfred lose it an bury a fork into Jokers skull or something, and then in the aftermath part ways with Bruce.
jjk2814
jjk2814 - 2/1/2013, 7:53 PM
I totally get the reality that Joker doesnt deserve mercy, pity, or reprieve, but if Bruce were to break that One Rule, all bets are off. He's said before that it's harder NOT to kill. It truly separates him from them.

I'd actually like to see a story where the Joker just does something so horrible and so unforgivable to Bruce that it makes him temporarily lose control and kill the Joker in a violent brutal way. Seeing him deal with the consequences of that in every aspect of his life would make for an amazing story.

Nope, its gonna be Alfred's head on the plate.
dadarkknight

Yeah I thank it's Alfred because it has to be someone that pulls at the emotional string. It's not Damion because I think I read that synder twitted the writer of Spiderman and said that after people read the conclusion of his story he probably will have to go into hiding.
