It's quite hard to believe that last months Harley Quinn #0 was DC's second beat selling book, only being out sold by the Dark Knight.
After a recent interview with Newsarama we now have a bit of insight into where the book is headed.
The interview with Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner confirms an appearance from Miss Pamela Ivy, aka Poison Ivy, in issue 2 as well as plans to set up a supporting cast around Quinn.
When asked if they had expected the huge popularity Palmiotti had this to say,
" Never in a million years. We wanted to do something interesting and different with the Zero issue, but never really got why it was ordered like gangbusters. I’ve been working in comics now for over 20 years and I just can’t ever figure it out."
