Earlier this month, DC Comics announced plans to release the DC Versus Marvel Omnibus and the DC/Marvel: The Amalgam Age Omnibus this August. These crossovers aren't easy to come by, so the news was met with widespread praise from comic book fans.

During this week's ComicsPRO Comic Industry Conference, DC Comics revealed cover art for both collections. There are a couple of recoloured classic pieces by the legendary George Perez (for the Mass Market versions of both books), along with a sneak peek at what we think will be a must-by.

While it isn't completed, DC's Jim Lee has dreamed up cover for the Direct Market version of DC/Marvel: The Amalgam Age Omnibus featuring the legendary artist's take on the mashed-up Marvel and DC heroes.

We'd have loved to see his contemporary take on the Marvel and DC heroes clashing in DC Versus Marvel, but the finished cover promises to be absolutely epic.

In other news, DC Comics has confirmed it will no longer release comic books on Tuesdays. They've been doing so since 2020 but in response to reader and retailer feedback, they're returning to Wednesdays for both monthly titles and collected editions and graphic novels.

Check out the cover art below along with the press release revealing what's in store for those of you who pick up DC Versus Marvel Omnibus and DC/Marvel: The Amalgam Age Omnibus.

They don't have the issues by that dude who had kiddie porn on his computer though (Magneto and the Magnetic Men and JLX). You know the guy, he wrote Emerald Dawn and such. Shame because they were fun books, like all the Amalgam books were.

People can do evil things and also do really cool things. People are nuanced.

God help us if they ever find kiddie porn on Alan Moore's computer. DC would take Watchmen and V for Vendetta out of print and lose loads of money and humanity would lose some really important works.

@DudeGuy - There was a second one-shot but it was based on the non-existent Dark Claw animated series.
