Not to ask a dumb or obvious question but Hal will still be the main character of this series right?

the GL movie is not only bringing down DC's chances of having good cbms, but is incorporating their crap to the comics so audiences can relate to the comics more. crapppppp

Of course. The reboot goes back in time to the early years so of course Sinestro is still a GL. I imagine it kicks off with the origin which would be the death of Abin Sur. In the retconned origin Sinestro is still a GL at this time.

You know, I wouldn't mind rebooting the DC Universe and going back to the early years of these characters, because this era was skipped over (aside from a few mini-series) when Crisis finished up and there is a wealth of material to spin tales from there, but I absolutely hate all the drastic wholesale changes they are now making to iconic characters in the process. They would have me on board if it was just a rewind. But this I am going to take a pass on.

As Always: EPIC FAIL!

Sinestro wasn't Green Lantern of sector 2814, even when Abin Sur was still alive. His appointed sector is 1417... so if we look at the release it clearly states that he's the newest Lantern of sector 2814. I'm rather curious to see where they're going with that.

@nitnik Sinestro became a GL in this weeks issue, prior to reboot.

Yeah, just read this weeks issue. Thought they were going back 10 years and retconning but nothing of the sort. Hal gets kicked out and Sinestro takes his place. Just plain stupid.

Can we possibly get a court order against Geoff Johns [frick]ing with Green Lantern any more? I mean seriously, do people really like what he's done with the mythos? It's the most heavy handed unnecessary stuff I've ever seen come out of such a great comic since X-men during the 80's. Just because it's big and you think it will "BLOW PEOPLE'S MINDS" does not make it good writing. Take a class or something Johns, Christ.

One question with this reboot....how do they explain all the Crisis storylines? Will they have happened already? Not yet? Or will they ignore and negate them, which would be idiotic! I'm a big fan, but I think this may be a big mess in the making!
