The first full trailer for Warner Bros./DC Entertainment's latest animated feature, Justice League: Warworld, is now online, and it should give fans a much better idea of what to expect from this new superhero adventure.
The movie features Jensen Ackles as the voice of Batman, Stana Katic as Wonder Woman, and Darren Criss as Superman (we will also meet some radically different "Elseworlds" takes on the iconic heroes).
“Until now, the Justice League has been a loose association of superpowered individuals. But when they are swept away to Warworld, a place of unending brutal gladiatorial combat, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and the others must somehow unite to form an unbeatable resistance able to lead an entire planet to freedom.”
Though the trailer isn't particularly graphic, the movie has been rated R for "strong, bloody violence."
Check out the teaser below, along with a new poster.
The cast also includes Ike Amadi as Martian Manhunter/J’onn J’onzz, Troy Baker as Jonah Hex, Matt Bomer as Old Man, Roger C. Cross as Machiste, Brett Dalton as Bat Lash, Trevor Devall as Drifter, John DiMaggio as Lobo, Robin Atkin Downes as Mongul, Frank Grillo as Agent Faraday, Rachel Kimsey as Mariah Romanova, David Lodge as Sheriff, and Damian O’Hare as Deimos and Teddy Sears as Warlord.
Justice League: Warworld will be available on July 24, 2023 on digital and July 25, 2023 on DVD & Blu-ray.
