Here's the list

10. Superman- He's got cool powers, not in top 5 because he lacks rouges gallery and is OP without kriptonite

9. Flash(Wally West) I always liked him. Especially from the Justice league animation.

8. Spider-Man (Miles Morales) a big step in getting minorities into comics. Hopefully they put him in the 616 universe soon.

7. Nightwing- The first Robin all grown up. Becomes a badass in his own right.

6. Captain America- The new movies have gotten me into him and he really is a badass.

5. Iron Man- admittadly i knew nothing about him before the first movie, but i've really gotten into his character. RDJ is Tony Stark at every level. Perfect casting.

4. Robin (Tim Drake)- I've always liked his costume and his journey into becoming a good hero. Pre New 52 of course

3. Flash(Barry Allen) Grant Gustin has done a great job with his character. Ezra Miller hopefully will be good in the films and i really hope the movies are good. Barry is a great character.

2. Batman- Bruce Wayne is everything i want to be in alot of ways. He's rich, dates hot girls, has cool cars, and knows how to kick ass. His journey into becoming a hero is freaking awesome as you see his struggles. He can hold his own against any hero with his intellect and his sidekicks. His rogues gallery is also the best. Joker, Two Face, Riddler, Penguin, Hugo Strange etc...

1. Spider-Man (Peter Parker)- Peter Parker is alot like me. Nerdy, broke, shy, girl problems, only difference is that he's a badass in his free time. He has the 2nd best rogues gallery behind Batman but his motivations are 2nd to none. His determination to do good is a result of good parenting between his Aunt May and Uncle Ben. Later in his life he starts getting beautiful girls like MJ and Gwen Stacy

Not gonna judge since it's a favorites list, but I will say I disagree with what you said about Miles being a big factor in bringing minorities into comics. He's not even been around 5 years and he's far from the first major non-white superhero. If anybody, John Stewart would be the main attraction in my book after his JLA animated series run. Luke Cage would be a distant second. Maybe Falcon, War Machine, and Black Panther, but I honestly don't believe anyone outside of the comic book community knew of these three before the MCU and I can guarantee 99.9999% of the non-comic readers, none have a clue that anyone besides Peter has ever been Spider-Man, let alone a young, black kid.

Poor Flash. Doesn't even get a number.

Jon Stewart top minority character? Not. I would say it would be Luke Cage in the past, since older folks identify with him the most (40 and over). Static Shock would be number one with the the ages around 30 to 40. The kids love Cyborg at the moment, the lamest minority character ever spawned. Jon Stewart never was anything but second rate compared to the guys I named before. I am a fan of Jon when he was on JL Unlimited, but he never made any strides as a badass to me.IMHO.

not gonna diss but i do think its a rubbish article. funny how none of these "yay spidey" articles appeared before disney hacked sony. Guess its another case of bandwagoning by disney fanboys or maybe their marketing guys on this board.

@leostrater
Although I did forget about Cyborg and Static, I think you are completely underestimating the popularity of Jon Stewart. Most people I know don't know that Static is a comic, for starters, and Cyborg's only attraction is the Teen Titans AS, a show geared towards pre-teens. JLA and JLU were very popular amongst many crowds to the point where most people I know that reference the Justice League, they think the Green Lantern has only ever been black. I know people that refused to watch the Green Lantern movie because they "[frick]ed up the character" by making him white.
