Summary:

Supes, back in normal form, though still infected with the Doomsday virus, teams up with Wonder Woman and the rest of the Justice League to continue the battle against Brainiac, but they are outmatched, leading Superman and Wonder Woman to call on some extra firepower for back up.

What I Liked

✔Great action sequences
✔Awesome art-line work was stellar with great detail
✔Dialogue was pretty solid, especially between Clark and his inner “Doomsday”
✔Solid pacing, moved along without dragging or going too fast

What I Didn’t Like

✘Doomsday and the whole Doomed event is really getting old

✘Some of the panels were too busy

✘Cliffhanger backtracks on the progress made in the issue

Themes:

  • Heroic self-sacrifice, loving others more than yourself

  • Help sometimes comes from unlikely places

Score:

7/10
