Charles Soule and Tony Daniel serve up a beautifully crafted comic book in Superman/Wonder Woman #8. The second in the Superman: Doomed storyline highlights the relationships that Superman/Clark has with not only Wonder Woman/Diana, but also with Kat Grant and Lois Lane. Without putting out any spoilers, this book has great dialogue (especially between Clark and Diana), while also presenting the danger of Doomsday.

Batman makes an appearance, but is really a bit player in this drama. It is rather amusing though, when he consents to being ordered around...

The art by Tony Daniel, and the colors by Tomeu Morey, presents a beautiful visual treat for fans of these characters. The facial expressions, especially of Diana, Lois, and Kat, and the transformed Clark, are exquisitely done.

This is a very good book. I look forward to the next chapter in this Doomsday story. Check out the video review below to see the art and hear some more commentary.
