With an all new and original story, New York Times best-selling author V.E. Schwab dips back into the universe of her bestselling books Vicious and Vengeful with ExtraOrdinary!

The four-part series, set to debut May 5th, follows Charlotte Tills - a teenage girl who becomes EO (ExtraOrdinary) after surviving a bus crash. The collection will include Titan Comics' special World Comic Book Day Issue #0, which will see the return of Eli Ever, the heart of Schwab's Villian series.

We've included the cover(s) and artwork that Titan Comics revealed last month for those that may have missed it. CBM has also been give exclusive access to share the first trailer for the upcoming series!

When asked about the inspiration behind ExtraOrdinary, Schwab revealed that “the books grew out of the idea that if you took a real person--with all their shortcomings and self-interests-- and gave them superpowers, they would not suddenly become heroes. If anything, they’d probably become villains.”

Working alongside Schwab in bringing this new comic series to life is artist Enid Balám (OMNI, Someday Comes Paradise), who just happened to create the fantastic cover for the special World Comic Book Day Issue #0.

ExtraOrdinary #1, as well as each of its variant covers, are currently available for pre-order through Titan Comics web site - CLICK HERE to learn more!

Set in the years between VICIOUS and VENGEFUL, "ExtraOrdinary" follows a teenage girl named Charlotte Tills who survives a bus crash and becomes EO--ExtraOrdinary, gaining the ability to see people's deaths in reflective surfaces. But when she looks into her own future, she sees a murder. The man responsible? None other than self-proclaimed hero and notorious EO killer Eli Ever, currently in prison for the murder of Victor Vale. Refusing to accept her fate, Charlotte pieces together what little she can glean from the reflections and sets off to find -- and change -- her future, before it comes for her. This collection also includes the special World Comic Book Day, issue #0, which serves as a primer on Eli Ever, the antagonist at the heart of the Villains series, and the hunter at the heart of this comic arc.

ComicBookMovie.com and Best Little Sites was the brainchild of Nate and a friend way back in 2002. Nate initially focused on the back-end programming and front-end design, but now manages the company and its associated sites as well, with a LOT of help from some very talented contributors.

Nate has loved comics from a very young age and continues to read them on a regular basis thanks to subscriptions to various titles (both Marvel and DC). He also loves movies, as his wife and children will attest. He's not overly critical of movies, so his reviews should be taken with a grain of salt as he's much more interested in being entertained and escaping the "real" world for a couple of hours than finding every conceivable plot-hole and character flaw in a film.

Outside of his guilty "nerdy" pleasures, Nate enjoys spending time with his wife and three boys, CrossFit, playing guitar, coaching youth sports and MMA (he spent a couple of years in the cage as an NHB fighter, but is now MUCH too old).
