If you're a tabletop gamer or fan (Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, etc.), Mad Cave Studios upcoming The Last Session comic book series may be right up your alley! Being a bit of a Dungeons & Dragons nerd myself from back in the early 80's (and still playing), The Last Session looks to be a comic book series after my old D20-rolling heart!

The Last Session follows Jay, Lana, Drew, Walter, and Shen as they go up against some of the most puzzling monster and life roadblocks. The upcoming comic series dives into their game of "Dice & Deathtraps", as well as their real lives and friendships.

The five-issue series is set to land December 22, 2021. You can learn more, as well as pre-order, by visiting the Mad Cave Studios site.

To celebrate the upcoming series, Mad Cave Studios has been kind enough to provide some goodies to share, including the first trailer, the artwork for The Last Session #1, and a few of the interior pages.

Jay, Lana, Drew, Walter, and Shen have played Dice & Deathtraps together since high school. Now, on the verge of graduating college and scattering, they’ve decided to finally complete their unfinished first campaign. But when Jay’s partner Cassandra joins as a new player, Lana’s afraid the party won’t ever finish their quest…

More tabletop RPGs are always welcome. Best of luck to the team at Mad Cave Studios.

I hope it is successful for them and maybe in the future it leads to a video game series for them.

If not that, with the little short to introduce the series maybe an animated show could come to pass.

Again best of luck.

Bard wandering on their own randomly touching runes on walls? Chaotic good or neutral. I approve.
