Actors of the highest caliber are joining the DC Film Universe and the Marvel Cinematic Universe with every new film. Marvel has recently added Benedict Cumberbatch, Tilda Swinton, Mads Mikkelsen, and Chiwetel Ejiofor for the upcoming Doctor Strange film. DC has taken a similar route with Zack Snyder's Justice League: Part One with the addition of J.K. Simmons and Willem Dafoe. The addition of such amazing actors in these comic book movie franchises opens of the possibility of any Hollywood A-Lister joining the comic book movie scene.

While promoting his upcoming film Independence Day: Resurgence, actor Jeff Goldblum was asked by MTV's Josh Horowitz if either Marvel or DC has ever approached him to be a part of their superhero films. “I can say very little right now,” teased Goldblum. “But you might be onto something.” The actor was then asked if his preferences leaned more towards Marvel or DC, he replied, "I'm in both camps. I'm open to all."

What do you think about Jeff Goldblum joining a comic book movie franchise? Do you think he'll join Marvel or DC? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

@BlackIceJoe - Magnus would be great! Maybe a little old for Kord, unless it was as a mentor to Jaime.
