The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that director Chad Stahelski and his producing partner, Basil Iwanyk are working on a Kill or Be Killed movie.

Kill or Be Killed is written by Ed Brubaker with art by Sean Phillips. It's about a depressed college student named Dylan who miraculously survives a suicide attempt. He then encounters a malevolent demon who reveals that he spared Dylan's life. As payment, Dylan must kill one person every month in order to keep on living.

The script will be written by Dan Casey, who has also worked on Brubaker and Phillips' Incognito adaptation for Columbia.

We'll keep you posted on further developments in the days ahead. Also, if interested, check out the comics. There are 14 issues out so far. It is violent, poignant and one of the best Image books on the stands right now.

It will be interesting to how Stahelski, with his action background, will bring the comic book to life.

@Highflyer - That would be cool. Amazon,Netflix, HBO or Showtime would be a perfect home for this.

@Forthas - I’m sure their are a lot of people not happy. That being said, I don’t think Disney is stupid enough to kill certain franchises solely because of an R rating. Hopefully, anyways.

Wait...

So he tries to kill himself but then meets a demon who spared his life and then he has to kill to stay alive.

What happens to him wanting to die?

Surely the film will be over in 10 minutes?

Can someone help me with what happens to change that without spoiling it for others?

@UltimateCarnage - Good questions. I recommend you check out issue 1 of the comic. It answers your questions and will hopefully intrigue you enough to keep reading. Brubaker takes what sounds like a thin premise and turns it into something compelling and thrilling.
