COMICS: Marvel Announces Shang-Chi Centric Battleworld Series, MASTER OF KUNG-FU

Marvel has announced another Battleworld limited series, MASTER OF KUNG-FU which will focus on the master himself, Shang-Chi, as he faces K'un Lun's evil Emperor Zu.

Marvel has annoyunced that this May Haden Blackman (Elektra) and Dalibor Talajic (Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe)will be leading a limited series titled MASTER OF KUNG-FU. The series will pit Shang-Chi against Emperor Zu who is also Shang-Chi's father. The 4-issue limited series will take place entirely on Battleword as part of Marvel's upcoming Secret Wars event.

Shang-Chi, once the most prized student at K'un Lun's most prestigious martial arts school, has become a drunken drop out living on the streets. Cast out and forsaken by society, Shang-Chi gathers together with other outsiders to take on Emperor Zu, who is not only K'un Lun's tyrant but Shang-Chi's father.

Shang-Chi is Marvel's version of Bruce Lee amped up to 11!
They should make him THE BEST hand to hand combatant of the Marvel U.

Despite Caps serum..despite the skill of Black Panther & training of Daredevil..despite the history of Iron Fist..Shang-Chi should be viewed as the best pure fighter of any Marvel character.

It would be cool to give a character who is non-white that status & honor the memory of Bruce Lee & his influence.

you're buggin man hate to say it , yes you are correct but not how marvel does things. they just recently explain why cap's so good at hand to hand , before he was just running around doin stuff......................I agree it should be shang-chi or iron fist IMO . but iron fist can get a lil OC with that whole chi amping thing he does
