COMICS: Norman Osborn May Have A Shocking New Look When He Returns In AMAZING SPIDER-MAN
A new preview page from Amazing Spider-Man #25 seemingly reveals that the loss of the Goblin Serum has left Norman Osborn a shadow of his former self as he appears to be more goblin than human now.
It was at the end of Superior Spider-Man that Norman Osborn had the Goblin Serum purged from his system, and he's been pretty much M.I.A. ever since. We have however seen him selling weapons to the highest bidder (with his face covered in bandages), and the reason why may have now been revealed. As you can see below, it appears as if the iconic villain has been left horribly deformed!
Comic Book Resources' interview with artist Stuart Immonen doesn't reveal anything about this page, but it looks like the monstrous figure is looking at a Norman Osborn mask, so it seemingly confirms that this is him. Without a knowledge of Spider-Man's secret identity (thanks for that, One More Day) and now no powers, the Green Goblin is a shadow of his former self, so can this story fix that?
Who knows, but this sadly doesn't appear to be the face-off between Spider-Man and the Green Goblin we've all been waiting to see for a long time now. What do you think or Norman's "new" look?
