I really disliked the first arc of this series. After issue #5 Remender has finally found his legs. My second favorite Avengers title behind New Avengers.

I'm hoping we see the return of Apocalypse through this business. Issue six with young Thor vs Apocalypse was awesome. I really have no idea what Remender has planned with these Apocalypse Twins, Kang and Red skullslaught but I'm thinking it's gonna be cool. And Acuna's work is righteous. As much as I like Cassaday, I'm glad he's off the book. Acuna is a much better fit.
