Captain American and Thor

Move over Wonder Woman and Superman. Marvel senior editor Bill Morse just revealed via Twitter that Sam Filson (Captain America) and Jane Foster (Thor) will be a romantic item in the All-New, All-Different Marvel Comics. According to Morse, the romantic pairing will become official this January.

The All-New, All-Different Marvel is a line-wide 2015 branding for Marvel Comics which reflects the publisher's uniting of the 616 and Ultimate Marvel Universe. With this unification comes a company mandate to represent more diverse characters and storytelling. For instance, Sam Wilson is now Captain America, Jane Foster is Thor and X-23 is the new Wolverine.

I still find it odd that Secret Wars was billed as the end to the Marvel Universe with the expectation of a New52 style reboot to simplify continuity and re-establish many characters and line-ups.

Instead we are getting the same crappy Marvel Universe from before except with Ultimate characters and random characters from other timeline/worlds (Old Man Logan, Young X-Men still around, wtf?) shoved in with all the same old convoluted bullshit and crappy storytelling.

With the exception of Star Wars, I can't stand anything Marvel is doing in the comics right now.

I find it strange that new comics fans make fun of older comics fans for wanting to keep the status quo, but they're fine with continuing a new status quo, that few people like, because it shoves SJW pandering down your throat.

Marvel will steadily decline for a year or two, and they'll announce and "all new, exciting" return to form. With the characters being who they're supposed to be, and "new, diverse" characters actually getting their own identities. Won't that be "new and different"?

@GliderMan

I thought we were gonna get something a bit New 52-ish, too, along with all of our favorite characters back in action and to their normal state.

At the moment, the greatest threat to Falcon, in the comics, is the real Thor seeing that shit; he'd [frick] him up.
