Romance remains a big part of comic book storytelling, and Marvel Comics has introduced a lot of iconic couples over the years. Now, Marvel's Stormbreakers, the next generation of elite artists, have revealed another round of variant covers putting the spotlight on some of Marvel's greatest couples.

They continue to take the comic book world by storm by shattering the limits of visual storytelling with their incredible talents, and in addition to their exemplary work on Marvel’s hottest ongoing titles, this amazing group of artists come together each month to deliver outstanding, must-have collections of variant covers. This batch will go on sale in November, and we have the first five to share with you.

They feature Spider-Man and Mary Jane by R.B. Silva, Daredevil and Elektra by Juann Cabal, Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman by Natacha Bustos, Mystique and Destiny by Peach Momoko, and Cyclops and Jean Grey by Iban Coello.

The covers featuring Storm and Black Panther, Vision and Scarlet Witch, and Captain America and Sharon Carter have yet to be revealed, though we're sure many of you will have something to say about Storm and Black Panther being considered one of Marvel's great couples. Their partnership is no more, and it remains one of the more divisive creative decisions made by Marvel Comics in that era.

Those second and last covers are pretty cool. Really hope the MCU can do the latter characters justice, since they're great in the comics (together)

@OmegaBlack13 - Because Wolverine's WAY too cool, to be a third wheel.

@OmegaBlack13 - Because the moment they threw wolverine in it stopped being a good love story.

@dragon316 - Well, you do have some punctuation here. You didn't use it any way humans do, but progress I guess.

Also, I thought we were done with complaining about "slutty" clothing decades ago? You guys can't even argue that its not accurate, as ripped jean shorts like that are something real women wear in the real world. So what do you want? Are you guys not gonna be satisfied unless all women cover themselves entirely, only showing their eyes, like they do in war torn middle eastern countries? You guys have a messed up view of progressive.

@Origame - This is dragon316. He is not progressive, he just wants to complain about anything.

How can they leave Mr and Mrs X out? Gambit and Rogue are one of the most iconic Marvel couples. Shame.

I'm glad Marvel thinks Mary Jane and Peter are so good together that they broke their happy and healthy marriage up thanks to a deal with Satan.
