Marvel Comics Is Sending CARNAGE To Hell To Challenge Malekith For His Throne This August

Marvel Comics' new Carnage series has taken the villainous symbiote on quite a ride, and this August, the alien is heading to the Marvel Universe's version of Hell to challenge Malekith for his throne...

Carnage is one of the Marvel Universe's most terrifying villains, and is proving to be deadlier than ever in his new ongoing series by writer Ram V. and artists Francesco Manna and Rogê Antônio.

In the pages of Carnage, the symbiote is adrift and alone, but free and ready to give in to his most sinister cravings. Cletus Kasady is nowhere to be found, but this Carnage is all too happy to unleash chaos, and the title's second arc will show us just how big Carnage’s ambitions are as he heads to the realm of the Dark Elves for an enticing prize...the throne of classic Thor villain Malekith!

The Carnage symbiote has a bloodlust unlike any other organism in the Marvel Universe. Now, its ruthless and aggressive efforts to quench that bloodlust will reach new and never before seen heights. But what in the Hel is Carnage up to, and what will it do to anyone who gets in its way?

Well, the answer to that question will come our way later this summer, but we could be looking at an exciting status quo change here. We've seen Carnage target Spider-Man and Venom on countless occasions, so it's time for something new, and the alien heading to Hel definitely fits the bill.

This sounds pretty ridiculous not gonne lie but tbh, I have been liking what Ram V's been putting out lately so I'll be willing to give this a shot.

Ok, as far as modern Marvel's strategy of "throw characters at the wall and see what sticks" this is kinda tight.

When I half read the article title I was sure, certainly, this time it's Mephisto, but alas...

As a kid I used to wish the different areas of the Marvel Universe would mix it up a bit more than they did... why couldn't Iron Man fight the Green Goblin? Why did the X-Men only interact with other mutants? Etc, etc. But now it sees too much the other way... Asgardian stuff with street level Spidey villains, Daredevil becoming Captain Universe, Conan in the Avengers....
