At the NYC premiere for Daredevil season 2 , Marvel Head of Television Jeph Loeb touched on the ever expanding slate of programming in development at Marvel TV.  Said Loeb, "It never stops.  We have, in one way or the other, there's nine or ten shows that are going.  They're going on in my brain. The idea is, much like when I was doing television and writing comics at the same time, it’s about telling stories, and making sure we are telling the best stories that we can.  I’m not there alone, I’ve got people like Joe Quesada, Dan Buckley, and Alan Fine at Marvel, incredible showrunners, incredible writers, Jim Chory, who’s my head of production and can make all of these things happen.  It’s having a team around you to be able to do exactly what you’re saying, which is not just live here, but live ten months in the future and know what we’re doing not just now but a year from now."

It may seem like DCTV is taking over the air waves at the moment but the number of Marvel television programs currently airing or in development actually outnumbers their comic book competition.  Throw in the animated shows such as Ultimate Spider-Man, Avengers Assemble, Guardians of the Galaxy and the recently announced BIG HERO 6 and Marvel is truly dominating on all entertainment fronts.

DC will have 11 tv shows by the end of 2016. Marvel will have 6-7 by the end of 2016.

@bl00dm4n3 - Are you counting shows based on non-main universe DC properties but then giving Marvel no credit for Fox shows?
